Graduate Student Wellness

I am the only mindful movement teacher in the world with over 20 years of experience with graduate student mental health (see my LinkedIn profile). Enhance your graduate student wellness program with my online, at-home movement experience tailored specifically to the wellness needs of graduate students.

This 90-minute workshop starts with a thought-provoking presentation about interoception (the ability to sense your body internally) and the value of listening to the body’s voice. I then introduce Nia Technique and lead students in a low-impact, whole-body Nia Technique movement experience. We close with a discussion of how listening to the body’s voice can improve all aspects of life, including scholarship and professional development as well as mental and physical health.
