Move your body, move your life with YouMove!
Hi! I’m Paula and I teach mindful dance fitness classes that provide a safe space for you to move.
I help people sense their bodies, express their feelings, and make their own unique choices - all while burning calories and getting more fit.
My classes are called YouMove. You’ll do simple moves from dance and martial arts, adapted by YOU to suit your body, mood and goals.
YouMove develops agency alongside fitness. You’re following me, but you’re also personalizing the movements, with my encouragement. You are in charge of your experience. That is agency. Being in charge.
Agency is more important than ever these days. We need to be in charge of our bodies!
YouMove blends choreography and freedom
My classes help you “be here now,” immersing yourself in the present moment. Being fully present is mindfulness - which helps you stay sane in insane times.
You forget everything else and immerse yourself in the experience.
In every class you will see and feel improvements in your balance, coordination, flexibility, range of motion, stamina, even strength.
And the benefits don’t stop there. YouMove enhances your mental and emotional wellbeing. Attending class will become a go-to for emotional regulation, stress relief, and peace of mind in the face of uncertainty. You will become more resilient.
Developing power, balance and range of motion
In short - YouMove class is the ideal safe place to give yourself FULL-SPECTRUM SUPPORT.
You don’t have to be a good dancer to benefit from my classes. If you can move at all, you get the benefits.

My classes are live in person and on Zoom at the same time. See schedule. Dance with me in person in my west Sonoma County, California studio, or dance along on Zoom (free 3 day replay)!
My classes help you feel alive!
