Move your body, move your life
Hi! I’m Paula and I teach dance fitness classes that provide a safe space for you to move. I help people sense their bodies, express their feelings, and make their own choices - all while burning calories and getting more fit.
My classes are called YouMove. They consist of simple moves from dance and martial arts, adapted as needed by YOU to suit your body, mood and goals.
YouMove is designed to help you be in charge of your experience. You’re following me, but personalizing the movements to suit your body, mood and goals. In that way, YouMove develops agency and overall resilience alongside fitness.
Agency and resilience are more important than ever these days, don’t you agree?
YouMove blends choreography and freedom
My classes help you “be here now,” immersing yourself in the present moment. Being fully present is mindfulness - a cornerstone of resilience.
You forget everything else and immerse yourself in the experience.
In every class you will see and feel improvements in your balance, coordination, flexibility, range of motion, stamina, even strength.
And the benefits don’t stop there. YouMove enhances your mental and emotional wellbeing. Attending class will become a go-to for emotional regulation, stress relief, and peace of mind in the face of uncertainty.
Developing strength, balance and range of motion
In short - YouMove class is the ideal safe place to give yourself FULL-SPECTRUM SUPPORT.
You don’t have to be a good dancer to benefit from my classes. If you can move at all, you get all the benefits.
Interested? Trying a free recorded class. My gift to you.
My classes are live in person and on Zoom at the same time. See schedule. Dance with me in person in my west Sonoma County, California studio, or dance along on Zoom (free 3 day replay)!
My classes help you feel alive!
